What makes a good casino game night online?
A casino night with friends is about the cards, the suspense and the banter, not about money. When you choose where to play, look for:
- No real money in or out. Chips should only keep score, with nothing to buy and nothing to withdraw.
- A private table. Only the people you invite, not strangers.
- Fair dealing. Shuffling and dealing you don't have to wonder about, with nobody able to see cards they shouldn't.
- Room for your whole group. Some nights it's two of you, some nights it's twenty.
- Easy joining. A link your friends can open in their browser, without creating an account or installing anything.
- A way to talk. Half the fun is the table talk.
Virtual chips only: no real money, ever
Every casino-style game on Ping44 is played with virtual chips that have no cash value:
- You can't buy chips, sell them, cash them out or win anything with them.
- There are no in-app purchases, no premium tier and no ads anywhere on Ping44.
- The host sets the starting chips, and everyone at the table starts with the same stack.
- If you run out, you're never asked to pay. In blackjack, baccarat and Hi-Lo you sit out a round and come back with the starting chips. In poker, Play again restores everyone's starting stack.
- What you win or lose goes into the room's scoreboard and your stats. It's bragging rights, nothing more.
These games are meant for fun with friends. If gambling with real money is causing problems for you or someone close to you, talk to someone you trust or a local support service.
Poker (Texas Hold'em)
Poker is the strategy pick: 2 to 10 players, each dealt two private cards, with four rounds of betting as five shared cards are revealed in stages. You win the pot with the best five-card hand at the showdown, or by making everyone else fold.
The host sets the starting stack (100 to 50,000 chips), the blinds, the action clock (untimed, or 20 seconds to 5 minutes) and the game length: until the players quit, until one player has every chip, or 5, 10 or 20 hands. The server runs the button, the blinds, all-ins and side pots, and your two cards are sent only to you until the showdown.
Best for: 2 to 10 players who like reading each other and bluffing.
Blackjack
Blackjack is the easiest to pick up. Everyone plays against the dealer at the same time: hit, stand or double down, and try to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. A blackjack pays 3:2, and the dealer stands on every 17.
It's the only one of the four you can play alone, and it takes up to 100 players, all acting at once, so a big table never waits on one slow decision. Each round's bet goes down by itself, so you just play the cards.
Best for: playing solo, newcomers, and groups of any size.
Baccarat
Baccarat needs no strategy at all. Everyone bets on the Player hand, the Banker hand or a Tie, and the table draws its cards by the classic third-card rules. Player pays 1:1, Banker 0.95:1 and Tie 8:1.
Bets stay private until the result unless the host turns on Show bet selections, so everyone decides alone and the reveal lands for everyone at once. It takes 2 to 100 players.
Best for: big groups, video calls, and anyone who wants to chat more than think.
Hi-Lo
Hi-Lo is pure press-your-luck. A card is face up and everyone calls whether the next one will be higher or lower; the same rank loses. Each right call multiplies your run by odds taken from the cards left in the deck, and then you choose: bank it, or risk the whole run on the next card.
It takes 2 to 100 players, all calling the same cards, and calls stay hidden until the reveal unless the host chooses to show them.
Best for: tension, streaks and loud reactions.
Which casino game should you pick?
- Playing alone, or with friends arriving at different times: blackjack. Latecomers are dealt in from the next round once the host lets them in.
- A small group that likes strategy: poker.
- A big group, or a call where people are half playing: baccarat.
- A group that loves pushing its luck: Hi-Lo.
You don't have to choose just one. When a game ends, the host can switch to another without anyone leaving the room, and room scores carry across every game, so the night's overall winner is whoever played best across all of them. For more table games, see all the card games, including WHOT and UNO.

Is any real money involved?
No. Every casino-style game on Ping44 uses virtual chips with no cash value. You can't buy chips, cash them out or exchange them for anything. A good hand only moves your room score and your stats.
What happens if I run out of chips?
You get more for free. In blackjack, baccarat and Hi-Lo you sit out one round and come back with the starting chips. If the whole table runs out, blackjack and baccarat top everyone up at once, while Hi-Lo ends the game and Play again starts everyone fresh. In poker, Play again restores everyone's starting stack.
Which casino game can I play alone?
Blackjack. You play against the dealer, so you can start a table by yourself. Poker, baccarat and Hi-Lo need at least two players.
How many people can play?
Poker takes 2 to 10 players. Blackjack takes 1 to 100, and baccarat and Hi-Lo take 2 to 100. Anyone else in the room can watch as a spectator.

Yes. The server shuffles and deals every card using a cryptographically secure random source and checks every move. Nobody, including the host, can see cards they aren't allowed to see.
Do my friends need an account?
No. The host needs a free account to create the room, but friends can join as guests by just picking a name.
